Njardarheimr Step II

 We are pleased to announce that we are expanding Njardarheimr.

BUILDING STEPS II

    - The main objective of stage II is to put in place all the necessary facilities and infrastructure to keep Njardarheimr open all year round.

    - Stage II contains more than 1000m2 of building space. 

    - The total cost framework for stage II is approximately 20 million.

    - Njardarheimr opens the gates again at 10.00 -1 May 2018

STAGE II CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS

    - Entrance area facing E-16. Shop & service building which, in addition to retail space and toilets, contains these necessary functions for visitors, employees and Vikings. 

    - Multi-purpose hall for all types of events. 

    - Mathus with associated buildings.

    - Large forge adapted for historical production and courses.

    - Palisades and green ramparts around the city where this is lacking.

    - Various minor works on existing buildings.

NJARDARHEIMR

    - Njardarheimr was opened on May 31, 2017.

    - Njardarheimr had over 14,000 visitors in the 2017 season.

    - Future stages of construction will include the 36 meter long Gildehallen.

    - When fully developed, Njardarheimr will consist of around 40 buildings.
